How to perform a lash lift with Flash Balm
Flash Balm is one of Ruthie Belle's innovations in lash lifting! An all-in-one product that combines optimal hold, flexibility and gentleness in one simple balm.
The method makes it possible to work quickly, adjust along the way and achieve perfect results – even on coarse or difficult lashes – without the use of classic glue .
Perfect for those who are new to the profession, but also for experienced stylists who want a more comfortable workflow.

Step by step
1️⃣ Cleanse
→ Mild foam cleanser
Clean the lashes with a brush or micro applicator
→ Saline (sterile sodium chloride)
Remove residue and open the cuticle.
✨ TIP!
Do not use Micellar Water – it can leave an oily film.
2️⃣ Easy Lift Primer
→ Easy Lift Primer
Use a micro applicator and apply evenly to the entire lash. Wait 30 seconds before continuing.
📌 When should you use Easy Lift?
- For coarse, thick, shiny or untreated lashes.
- Avoid on very dry or damaged lashes.
3️⃣ Lift and separate lashes
→ Flash Balm
→ Wide Lami Lash Brush
Apply Flash Balm in small sections directly to the shield.

- Doesn't dry too quickly – you can work calmly and accurately.
- Gives you time to adjust placement.
- Perfect also for coarser lashes – no "lash popping".
4️⃣ Step 1 – Cysteamine Lifting Lotion
Apply Cysteamine Lash & Brow Lifting Lotion from the root of the lashes up to the desired height ( apex or slightly above).
Avoid uneven lines. Cover with plastic wrap if desired for more even heat and effect.
⏱ Operating time
8–12 minutes depending on the thickness of the lashes.
Usually: 8 min for fine lashes, 10 min for normal, 12 min for coarse)
❗ Shorten the working time slightly when using Easy Lift Primer in earlier steps.
5️⃣ Step 2 - Fixing Lotion
Wipe off Step 1 with a dry Q-tip. Apply Fixing Lotion to the same area.
⏱ Operating hours:
8–10 minutes. (2 minutes shorter than step 1)
6️⃣ Color
Remove Step 2.
Mix desired eyelash color + 1.5–3% oxidant and apply.
⏱ Operating hours:
3–5 minutes, depending on the manufacturer.
7️⃣ Step 3 - Shine Repair
Remove the color and apply Shine Repair directly to the lashes. Leave on for 5 minutes .
This closes the cuticle, adds shine and strengthens the lashes after the treatment.
8️⃣ Final cleanse and finish
Use After Lift Neutralizing Foam to cleanse the entire eyelid and lash area.
Carefully remove the shields.
Dry and applyLami Juice for glow, moisture and a silky finish.
